Wicca and other Pagan religions are some of the oldest forms of worship in the world. Many symbols from main stream religions can be traced back to Paganism.
Wicca and other Pagan religions are mostly nature based. We have a deep appreciation for the wind, the rain and everything else around us. Wicca is a mostly feminine religion, but is not predigest against men. We respect everyone for who/what they are regardless of gender, race, religion, or sexual orientation. The religion is a reconstruction of pre-christian religions.
A lot of people that are searching for themselves or a faith to comfort them do turn to Wicca and other forms of Pagan religions. There are a lot of tales about people who try these religions and bad things happen, well I have one thing to say about that. Just like any other faith you can be a part of it for the right reasons or the wrong ones and you can easily misuse the religions. Yes there are some forms of Paganism that involve magic, but not all of them do. And yes using magic is risky, but using it for your own personal gain is how most people get hurt and how the practice gets such a bad reputation.
If you are drawn towards this or any religion I strongly suggest you do some research on it, look into the good and the bad of the religion. Don't join it because of what you can gain, join because it seems like the right thing for you. I also suggest that you get a feel for it, maybe try it out for a little while. I hope this site helps you understand the religion more.
If you are Pagan already I hope this site gives you a place to connect to others like you. Enjoy our blogs and member systems.

"When one defines oneself as Pagan, it means she or he follows an earth or nature religion, one that sees the divine manifest in all creation. The cycles of nature are our holy days, the earth is our temple, its plants and creatures our partners and teachers. We worship a deity that is both male and female, a mother Goddess and father God, who together created all that is, was, or will be. We respect life, cherish the free will of sentient beings, and accept the sacredness of all creation." Edain McCoy
"Neo-Pagan Witches aren't Satanists. The Christian anti-God, Satan, has no place in Pagan pantheons, either mythologically or theologically. Plainly and simply, to non-Christians, Satanism is the dark side of Christianity." Otter and Morning Glory Zell
